Fence Project

PREAMBLE

The Mico Foundation constructed an entry/exit gate to the Mico University College which has become a distinctive showpiece along Marescaux Road. Unfortunately, the adjoining fence does not complement the elegance of the gate, neither does it provide the visual aesthetic quality that befits the frontal image of the University College.

OBJECTIVE

To build 370 feet of concrete and metal bar fencing. From the corner of Manhattan Road to the borders of Wolmer’s Boys’ School.

HERE IS HOW

THE NEW FENCE ALONG MARESCAUX ROAD WILL HAVE 25 COLUMNS, EACH EIGHT FEET HIGH.

This fence will be the start of a walk of honor to be constructed along the perimeter of the campus. Each Column can be identified with a graduating class and the names of each member of that batch. Batch members will be asked to contribute $20,000.00 to have their names permanently inscribed for posterity. A batch may contribute or seek sponsorship to have the names of deceased members inscribed on the column of honor.

BUDGETS

Estimated cost $30 million dollars

EACH COLUMN CARRIES A CORPORATE Z SPONSORSHIP ON THE OUTER SIDE FACING THE PUBLIC ROADWAY, AND NAMES OF GRADUATES ON THE INNER SIDE FACING THE WALK OF HONOUR.
